I KNOW it's the second one, but I'm not sure why, and our copywriter wants an explanation. Can anyone explain what grammar rule dictates this?

Both word orders can be correct, but solely if the punctuation is correct:

  • “[…] provide, for you, our service.”

  • “[…] provide our service for you.”

    I would prefer “to you” in this one, but that's tangential.
