Whenever I try to move files from one folder to another, sometimes the action freezes and this cancel button appears on the screen. The folder remains frozen and I can't click on anything.
I close out of the folders using the task manager, but the cancel button that appeared still stays stuck on the screen. I can't seem to get rid of it and it is constantly on top of every program or app I go to. It's like a blemish stuck to the screen until I do a hard restart.
I have never had to hard restart computers in the past because of something silly like this. I have a Windows 11 MSI computer.
Is there a quicker way to remove the cancel button other than just close everything out and restart? Maybe something in task manager that I can press for a fast refresh?
For reference, it looks like this.
