Final interviews have finished. It's now been a week. I email HR to ask about it. here is their reply

We are currently in the final stages of our internal discussions and are working to conclude the review process. Once those discussions are complete, I'll be happy to get back to you asap with an update.

They are not ready to tell you that you have been rejected; or advanced to the next stage, or will be offered a position.
When they decide that status for the candidates they will (probably) let them know. Of course some companies never let somebody know they are out of the running.
You could be in great shape or be out of the running.
This limbo means keep looking, keep applying, and keep interviewing. Also reach out to them every week or two.
